We LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURVE Kat and Gerard!  When we met them this summer, they were debating on whether they would hire one or both of us to shoot their wedding in July, and we’re so glad they chose us together!

We met them in Smyrna at the Village Green for their engagement photos.  The day was one of those brilliant southern fall days (we get so few of them!), and the sun was shining and the birds were singing… you know how it goes.  We powered through three (count ‘em!) clothing changes AND a little (surprise!) birthday cupcake delivery afterward at La Fonda.  These are just a few of our favorite shots from the shoot — can you tell they love to laugh?  YAY!

The next few months are gonna fly.  We’ll see you guys SOON!

Francine and Gordon live in DC, so we didn’t get a chance to do proper “engagement” photos of them in the month before their wedding. See, I have to put “engagement” in quotes, because they were actually already married! Gordon is Irish, and anyone who’s been through the green card process knows that it’s, well… a process! So Francine and Gordon were legally married before a judge, all by their lonesomes, then planned a party to end all parties here in Atlanta to commit to one another in front of their dearest family and friends! A couple of days before their wedding celebration, we got together for a few photos… not quite engagement photos, of course, but a Pre-Shoot — a chance for us all to get comfy together and (best of all) share a beer!

We met Erica and Matt for the very first time when they drove all the way from their home in Mississippi for an E-Shoot with us here in Atlanta! After spending the afternoon with them, and sharing a meal together (YUM!), we’re so excited to shoot our first Mississippi wedding next year!

The wind was CRAZY in downtown Atlanta!  See how the trees are all pointing left?

Rebecca and Isaac got engaged in July, and they’ll be married in October! We think there’s really nothing better than finding the love of your life and then getting married without delay. Hooray for love!

We make engagement photos all the time, but Diane and Billy’s was our first ACTUAL “engagement” – right in front of us at the Westin Sun Dial, Billy got down on one knee and asked Diane to be his wife!  We were so thrilled to be part of this very special occasion for the self-proclaimed city-girl and country-boy.  They may come from different places, but Diane and Billy share so much more in common: the same birthday, the same family names, and even the same favorite animal at the Georgia Aquarium!  After documenting their engagement at the Sun Dial, we drove over to the Aquarium where Diane and Billy met up with their families and enjoyed a private behind-the-scenes tour.  (Truly, this is THE way to enjoy the Aquarium!)  We just can’t say enough about what an incredible experience this was for us.  THANK YOU, Diane and Billy!

Dear Amanda & David,

I know that you were both convinced that you had totally ruined your engagement photos by being completely ridiculous the whole time; however, we happen to feel like your energy and silliness MADE the photos.  You guys rock.  And you’re hilarious.  YAY!
